Garmin Ga 29 Marine Remote Gps Antenna

Garmin Ga 29 Marine Remote Gps Antenna If you’re mounting your GPS unit below deck, you’ll need this remote marine antenna to receive GPS signals. The GA-29 antenna comeswith 30 feet of cable and BNC connector.
Customer Review: Good Antenna
This antenna came as advertised. If using this antenna for a GPS 60Csx you will need the MCX to BNC adapter cable.
Customer Review: Excellent antenna and value
I compared this antenna with an after-market GPS antenna that was claiming that it performed better than Garmin. With two different receivers, I visually compared the signal levels between the two antennas. The Garmin antenna consistently showed higher signal strength, by from what I can tell was 10-20% better than the aftermarket antenna that was claiming higher gains (I don’t recall the dB). The Garmin antenna is well built, sturdy and I’m confident will stand up to the abuse it will sustain from long-term use offshore.

Garmin GPSMap 76S Handheld GPS Navigator

Garmin GPSMap 76S Handheld GPS Navigator If you’re a devoted mariner or serious outdoor enthusiast, Garmin GPSMAP 76S is the GPS/mapping unit for you. The “S” in the product name stands for “sensors”, because the GPSMAP 76S incorporates a GPS receiver, barometric altimeter, and an electronic compass that deliver precise location, elevation, and bearing information to take adventurers as high or as far as they want to go. The unit also contains a basemap of North and South America, including major highways, thoroughfares, rivers, lakes, and borders, with plenty of memory (24 MB) for downloading MapSource data. It’s also waterproof and floats in water - and its larger screen, increased readability, bigger buttons, and rugged design make this unit at home in even the harshest conditions.
Customer Review: Poor maps without additional software
Need additional map software for anything but MAIN highways. Lots of software available, but a bit of a disappointment. Replacing an older Garmin, expected better map built in.
Customer Review: another fortunate selection…
Very attentive service… There was a small error in the shipping label and the vendor informed me by phone 3 days before it arrived. Smooth, easy, confident. I am grateful for the product and for the way that the transaction was conducted. This one knows how to do it properly. Thanks.

Customer Review: Review Written in 2008, an honest one..
I had this well over 2 years now. At the time of the purchase, it was like the best thing to have. Now it is 2008 where there are many more GPS units to compare it againt. This would be at the bottom of the list. I notice some reviews are written 2005. That is 3 years ago. You know how fast electronics change.
