Tamrac Adventure 9 Photo/Computer Backpack (Grey/Black) The Adventure 9 is a modern backpack designed for the SLR photographer with a pro digital or film SLR with a grip and 5″ lens attached, several additional lenses, a flash, accessories and a laptop. The completely foam-padded lower compartment protects photo equipment, while the large top compartment holds a light jacket, lunch or other necessary items. Inside the top, a Pop-Off Pocket keeps AC adaptors and laptop cords organized. A separate, completely foam-padded compartment provides quick access to a laptop without disturbing photo gear.Double zipper pulls provide quick access to photo gear while a weather flap and quick-release buckle provide security and weather protection. Inside the main compartment, foam pillars support the camera with lens attached, ready for action, while adjustable, foam-padded dividers protect other equipment. Tamrac’s Memory & Battery Management System uses red flags to identify available memory cards and batteries from ones that are used up. A Windowpane-Mesh pocket organizes filters, cables and other accessories.Two mesh side pockets provide quick access to accessories and water bottles. The comfortable, foam-padded backpack harness with sternum strap is contoured to distribute the weight of the camera gear across the shoulders. The harness also features Tamrac’s Strap Accessory System attachment points for customizing this pack. Two lash tabs on the bottom allow a tripod to be carried (requires accessory straps).

Bought this bag for a trip to Yosemite and carried it for 7 days during daily hiking trips. The bag is comfortable and easily held my camera equipment + day hike essentials.

Xitel INport Deluxe does work well and is very simple to set up and use. My problem was the input from the older stereo I was using it on was at too high a level and causing distortion. It would have been useful to have some adjustable attenuation built into the interface. I ended up running the cables through an old Radio Shack audio mixer which knocked the signal down to an acceptable level.

Customer Review: Excellent GPS Cycle Computer for the Price!
I was a little concerned about trying the Garmin Edge 205 after having read some of the critical reviews. But, I went ahead and tried it since the price was so appealing. I am VERY GLAD I did!! The only thing I have to agree with the critical reviewers on is the calories burn estimation is WAY OFF (it estimates about twice the calories burned as my Polar Heartrate Monitor says I burn). Otherwise, this Garmin does EVERYTHING it says it will do! I have found distance & speed to be right on with my Cateye Wireless Strata. It is cool to be able to see how steep a grade I am riding at the time. And, the Virtual Partner alone was worth the $157.00 I paid for it!
For the record, the critical reviewers that claim they can’t get the cover back on the USB port just haven’t tried. It goes back in EVERY TIME in 5 seconds or less! The Garmin Training Center coupled with Google Earth is REALLY FUN to use as well.
All in all, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Garmin Edge 205 @ $157.00 or less!!!!!
Customer Review: A Garmin disappointment….for the price.
I have the Garmin nuvi 660 for my car, and I love it. I was expecting somthing similar for my bike, but I was very dissapointed. I guess I was expecting some type of navigation. For the price, I would have been happier with one of the more basic bike computers that tracks speed, distance and cadence at half the price. The 205 does not even have cadence which was standard on a less expensive device 15 years ago.

Customer Review: Very Satisfied
The Swiss Gear computer backpacks by Wenger are without peer as far as I’ve seen. This is my second pack made by them, the first one being designed for a 15.4″ laptop. This time I needed one that would accomodate a 17″ HP and the Pegasus fit the bill perfectly. I liked that this particular model fits closer to the back than others I had looked at. There is room for the computer, it’s power supply, typical portable office materials, your thumb drives, blank CD/DVD media and other small things without the bulk of also offering room for things you would carry in an overnight bag. The styling is appealing. The strenght and comfort of the shoulder straps is as good as it gets. Also the compartments (internal and external) are as well thought out as you are likely to ever find. From what I can tell, they seem to be very similar on all SwissGear computer backpacks. I tried to find a competitor with this quality and couldn’t. They are priced very well considering the quality of materials, construction and design.
