It fits the 160 fine, but I’m sure the 80 Classic will fit a bit loose. The 80 5.5 gen fits good though as it is a little thicker than the Classic 160. The big down side to this cover and the reason for only 3 stars is there is no cover for the screen. It would be great if they had incorporated a screen cover into the design.

The product works perfectly. It’s exactly what I wanted. The only problem was shipping. It took a couple weeks longer than I was told it would because of a shipping error. But the product itself is great.

At first I thought the problem was with poor instructions, which is certainly the case, but this product is such poor quality that it simply doesn’t work and never should have been marketed. You can’t even load a VHS-C cartridge in it. If you do follow their instructions, you will bend a little lever they don’t bother telling you about, thus destroying the device. Not that it would matter, it doesn’t work anyway.

I bought this Acessory Kit when I bought a Sony MiniDV Camcorder. It has every thing you need to complete your recording equipment. The carrying Case is very usefull for transporting the Camera, extra battery, recording tape and cables, also, it prevents damage to the unit.

I like the compactness of the bag, but not all the things you need fit inside. It could really stand to be bigger. The cord and camera can not both fit at once which can be inconvenient when traveling and need to recharge.
